What We Offer and How It Works
Effective date: 10 October 2026
This page is written in plain language for school owners and leaders. The Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Data Processing Agreement, and Acceptable Use Policy are the full legal versions. If anything here and those documents ever disagree, the legal documents are what count.
This page explains, simply, what Anakalice School Management is, what you get, what you do not get, and who is responsible for what. No jargon. Read it before you subscribe, and keep it to refer back to.
What the platform is
Anakalice School Management runs your school online. Student records, admissions, staff, classes, subjects, attendance, results and report cards, timetables, fees, announcements, and parent and student access, all in one place. Your school gets its own address: yourschool.anakalicedigital.com, with your own name and branding.
The plans
We bill per term. There are three terms in a school year, so you pay three times a year.
| Plan | Price per term | For schools with |
|---|---|---|
| Essential | NGN 75,000 | Up to 200 students |
| Professional | NGN 125,000 | Up to 500 students |
| Enterprise | NGN 200,000 | Up to 1,000 students |
Every plan includes the full set of features above. The difference is how many students you can manage.
What a plan includes: all the core school-management tools, your own branded subdomain, parent and student access, and online fee collection.
What a plan does not include: we do not build custom features for a single school on these plans, we do not run your school for you, and we do not offer a formal uptime guarantee on these plans, though we do take daily off-site backups (explained below). We do not provide legal, accounting, or tax advice.
Subscribe, or custom deployment
If your school fits inside one of the three plans, you subscribe and you are ready.
If you have more than 1,000 students, or you need something built specially for you, that is a custom deployment. It is a separate arrangement with its own price, agreed in writing. Talk to us.
How billing per term works
You pay for one term at a time. Each payment covers that whole term. Before each new term, we tell you what is due. Pay it, and your access carries straight on into the new term.
Prices can change over time. If they do, we tell you ahead of time, and a change only applies from your next term, never in the middle of a term you have already paid for.
What happens if you do not renew
If a term's fee is not paid by the due date, we give you notice, then we may pause your access until it is paid. Pausing means people cannot sign in for a while. It does not immediately delete your data.
If it stays unpaid for a long time, the account can be closed. Before that point you will have had notice and a chance to export your records. So the simple rule is: if you ever decide to leave, export your data first.
Online fee payments, explained simply
Parents can pay your school fees online, through the platform. Here is the money flow, plainly:
- Your school gets the full fee. You connect your own bank account (through Paystack, using a subaccount). When a parent pays, the full invoice amount is settled to your school.
- The parent pays the card charge. The card or gateway processing fee is added on top and paid by the parent, not taken out of your school's money.
- Anakalice takes a small platform fee. We charge a platform fee on online payments. It is currently 2%. That is how the online payment feature pays for itself. It is separate from your subscription.
- Payments are checked before they count. The platform confirms each payment with Paystack on our side before it marks an invoice as paid. So a "paid" invoice is a real, verified payment.
A note on timing: how fast money reaches your bank account is decided by Paystack and the banks, not by us, so we do not promise an exact payout time.
Fees themselves are between you and your parents. We do not set your fees, and refunds to parents are handled by your school.
Refunds
Subscription fees are paid per term and are generally not refundable once a term has started, because you have the service for the whole term. If you decide to leave, you simply keep access until the end of the term you paid for, and you do not renew.
Your data is yours
Your records belong to your school, not to us. In legal terms, your school is the "controller" of your students', parents', and staff data, and Anakalice is the "processor" that looks after it on your instructions. We use your data only to run the platform for you. We do not sell it, and we do not use your students' data for advertising.
You can export your data at any time. When you leave, we keep it available for you to export for at least 30 days, then we delete or return it.
Because your students are children, the law (the Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023) takes their data seriously, and so do we. Your school is responsible for getting parent or guardian consent where it is needed. We help you meet your duties, but the consent is yours to collect.
Support
We are here to help you use the platform. Reach us by email at info@anakalicedigital.com or by phone on 08060275165.
Being honest about what support is: it is help using the product. It is not us running your school's data entry, and it is not a promise to answer at any hour. We answer as quickly as we reasonably can, usually within one to two business days.
Backups and uptime
We take automated backups of the platform's data every day and store them off-site, and we test that they can be restored. What we do not yet offer on these plans is a formal, guaranteed uptime level or a contractual disaster-recovery time, and we are honest about that. As a sensible habit, please still export your important records from time to time and keep your own copies of anything critical.
Who is responsible for what
Anakalice is responsible for:
- providing and running the platform and its features;
- keeping your school's data in your own separate space, apart from other schools;
- checking online payments before marking invoices paid;
- looking after your data on your instructions and in line with the law;
- telling you if something goes wrong with your data.
Your school is responsible for:
- keeping your login details private and giving each person their own account;
- deciding who on your staff can see what;
- getting parent or guardian consent for children's data where it is needed;
- the accuracy of the records you enter;
- paying each term on time;
- connecting a bank account you are entitled to use for fee collection;
- setting your own fees and handling refunds to parents;
- exporting your data if you decide to leave.
Acceptable use, in plain terms
Use the platform for your school, lawfully, and treat children's data with care. Do not share logins. Do not try to reach another school's data or poke at the platform's security. Do not upload illegal or harmful content. If you spot a security problem, tell us, do not use it. Breaking these rules can lead to suspension or closure of the account. The full rules are in the Acceptable Use Policy.
